We do not talk about Liberty. We build it.

Power Hour: a weekly liberty meetup in Manchester

In the other 49 states, following the news can feel demoralizing, and activism often resembles pushing against an immovable wall. By contrast, living in New Hampshire is invigorating. Liberty is advancing!

New Hampshire Liberty Alliance

The Free State Project and the New Hampshire Liberty Alliance are two separate organizations, carrying out two very different missions. The Free State Project moves liberty-minded people to New Hampshire and builds the community. The NHLA works at the State House.

The premier liberty grassroots organization is the New Hampshire Liberty Alliance (NHLA), where I serve as Membership Director and board member. Founded in 2003, NHLA is a non-partisan, entirely volunteer-run organization dedicated to individual freedom, free markets, and limited government.

NHLA volunteers review more than 800 bills a year and issue a voting recommendation on whether each bill advances or undermines liberty. At the end of the session, we assign every legislator a grade derived from their roll-call votes. These grades create clear accountability and encourage stronger liberty outcomes in subsequent years.

Every Friday

Liberty Power Hour

I founded and host the Liberty Power Hour, a weekly working lunch for people to network, stay informed, and find practical ways to contribute to the movement. We conduct bill review and testimony trainings, support members in introducing citizen bills, recruit candidates, and fundraise to help liberty candidates win. Speakers have included legislators, policy experts, experienced activists, and organizers. The objective is straightforward: stay ahead of Concord, then act in concert.

When
Fridays, 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Where
AFP-NH, 8025 S. Willow St., Manchester

The other days of the week

As liberty activists, we support the NHLA’s legislative work by distributing the NHLA Gold Standard every day the State House is in session, and encourage like-minded people to join the movement. It is too exciting not to get involved.
